Essential Information

The only information which is intentionally collected, stored and used by Gig Drivers of Canada is that which is provided voluntarily by the user during the subscription sign-up process, using a form on the Subscription page. The information collected includes First Name, Last Name (optional) and Email Address:

• The First Name (and optional Last Name) may be aliases if the user so prefers.
• The Email address is confirmed through a verification process in which the user replies to a confirmation email.

The user’s subscription information is securely hosted by MailChimp. It is used only for email communication between Gig Drivers of Canada and the user. The user can see, edit, or delete their information at any time.

Comments

When the user leaves comments on the site (for Gigapedia articles and Gigbytes blogs), we collect the information shown in the comments form. Posted content (and the user’s email address, IP address and browser user agent string) may be used to support spam detection.

Sharing User Data

Gig Drivers of Canada does not share user data with any outside parties.
